The FWC approved a panther position paper at its September 2015 Commission meeting to provide strategic direction to staff moving forward with panther management and conservation efforts. Florida panther conservation has reached major milestones and is an impressive success story. This position paper reaffirms the FWC’s commitment to work with partners to conserve and protect panthers.
These pen-and-paper games must be downloaded and printed to be played. Have fun and learn about the Florida panther, without the need of a computer.
This series of three math activities was written to meet many of the Sunshine State Standards in math and science for grades 3-5 using real-world data. In these activities, students make predictions about the health of individual panthers and the suitability of different environments.
Who Am I?
This game was developed as a substitute for the on-line Who Am I? and contains similar content in the form of clue cards and picture cards. Two teams play the game, and scores are kept. Because of programming difficulties, scores are not kept in the on-line game.
